ecasound does not support files that change content during processing.

You need to either

1) restart ecasound when file is modifued

2) use the interactive mode (ecasound-iam, see man page) and use
"cs-disconnect" and "cs-connect" to force ecasound to reopen the files
     -> ecasound will resume from same position, but there is audible gap
in playback when you do this
