Re: [ecasound] ecasound for live band

Hi Julien,

i've tired to install nama already but the incredible amount of
dependencies where hard to manage on my Archlinux system... even with
cpan so i forgot about it.
On another hand it may be an option to try again with you having tried
a similar setup.

An important thing is that i could control nama via scripts. Today i
can send command to ecasound wia TCP, so it allows me to talk to
ecasound and the midi engine (a modified jpmidi i'll tell you about
soon) from a script. If it is possible we'll talk about that on the
nama list.

Could you argue why you'd go with the loop device solution ? may it be
only personal taste ;)
