[ecasound] control a parameter on commandline

I am trying to figure out if it is possible to control a plugin
parameter on the commandline. I have the following command:

ecasound -el:delay_60s,1,1 -i alsahw,0,0 -o alsahw,1,0

and would like to control the first parameter of the delay on the
commandline (for example by pressing up and down arrow).

Is something like this possible?
