Hi Philipe,
The HiRes timer is a kernel feature that allows
timing increments to specified in microsecond and
even nanosecond increments.
I casually assumed that everyone would have that option
turned on in their kernel. Your error message appears to
suggest otherwise.
I can easily implement a fallback to the second-increment
sleep function. Not critical to most of what Nama does
at present.
I'll have another version uploaded to CPAN soon
including a bunch of other fixes.

If it succeeded you would probably see windows popping up
like crazy during the test phase.
