OK, the reported problem was probably a false a alarm, i.e. a consequence of
the fact that part of libraries was built with one (compiler + standard C/C++ libs),
and part - with another.

I have rebuilt both ecasound-2.4.4 and ecasound-2.4.5 and both showed no
problem in 'make check'.
