I have recently upgraded both MB and OS - the latter is now SUSE 10.2 instead
of Madnriva 2006.

So, I am rebuilding everything from scratch, and I have not yet arrived to
ecasound - too many things could be built because their dependencies were
installed at system level, and now I want them to be built really from scratch,
i.e. as much as possible from sources.

I'll try the new ecasound when all its dependencies are ready and let you
know.
