Is it possible to use ecasound to chop an input stream into silence
delimited segments such as one might typically want to acquire tracks
from a vinyl lp record? The -ge gate seems like almost (but not
quite) what I'm after since I think I want the gate to shut only
after x secs of input below y%. I'm actually trying to take input
from (speech) audio cassettes and want to gate out the silences at
start and end of each side. I've tried gramofile which purports to
provide vinyl track splitting
