Hello,

I have a RH 9 system running Planet CCRMA's low latency RH kernel
with ALSA 0.9.4-2.cvs , JACK 0.80 and Delta 1010LT and ecasound 2.3
I currently have inputs connected to channels 3,7 and 8 of the
card and I can record individually using ecasound this way -

ecasound -t:3600 -f:32,12,44100 -i jack_alsa -erc:3,1 -f:32,1,44100 -o ch3.mp3
or
ecasound -t:3600 -f:32,12,44100 -i jack_alsa -erc:7,1 -f:32,1,44100 -o ch7.mp3

I'm unable to record if I try connecting ecasound to the JACK
ports. Here's what I'm doing -
I start the jack daemon, then I started ecasound with -

ecasound -f:32,1,44100 \
  -a:1 -i jack -o ch3.mp3 \
  -a:2 -i jack -o ch7.mp3 \
  -a:3 -i jack -o ch8.mp3

I started qjackconnect and it showed me readable ports on the LHS
and ecsound ports 1,2,3 on the RHS. I then connected the capture
ports, 3,7,8 to the ecasound ports.

When I ctrl+c ecasound after a few minutes (or even an hour) , all I get is
files which are say 8192 bytes. I feel I'm missing something
really basic.
Anyone have any suggestions ?

Thanks,
