Subject: SERIOUS trouble with double buffering and jack with current CVS

Hello,
In recent ecasound, I am seeing serious problems with the double buffering
subsystem and the mesage
prefilling i/o buffers
repeats multiple times. When this happens, MONSTEROUS XRUNs, on the order
of seconds, happen in the resulting audio tracks. I'm running current CVS
and find this unusable. If I disable with -z:nodb, jack zombifies
ecasound, probably because it can't write to disk fast enough.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
