I forgot to say that I have Knoppix installed on my harddisk (it does
NOT run from CD-ROM). And there is plenty of space for my wave-files
(10 Giga). The files ARE written on my harddisk. I haven't used SOX so
fare, but I will give it a try. Let's see what happens. By the way:
no, there are no error messages in my log...
