This is easily added. On the other the static port will cover 99,999% of
the cases. First of all, changing the server port is not very easy from
end-user pov. In addition to finding a free alternative port number, the
user must also configure all clients to use this custom port. And 2868 is
not actually a randomly selected number. It's a currently unallocated port
number and does not belong to any of the dynamic port ranges. This means
that conflicts are not very likely.

But anyways, I'll still add this to my todo-list. ;)
