Issue:
ecasound -a:1 -i myfile.wav -o powermac \
-a:2 -i powermac -o track2.wav
... and while it's running, issue:
cat /proc/asound/card0/pcm0p/sub0/hw_params
cat /proc/asound/card0/pcm0c/sub0/hw_params
... and from the output check the sampling rate matches that of
'myfile.wav'.
