It was very interesting to read your paper.
However, my impression is that that kind of thing
could only be done on the user-side, and not much a business
of the upstream ecasound developer.
Similar things can be achieved using Debian packaging
(well, there is some cost associated with building a deb file, but
changing the current ecasound version is only an apt-get away).
