Well, ecasound can do channel routing, if that's what you mean...

For that you might want to have a look at the files audiofx_mixing.* in
libecasound. On the other hand, maybe it would be good for you to have a
look at http://www.ladspa.org, it provides a clean and clear API and would
let your library be available to any LADSPA host.
