Oh, I just realized something that could explain everything. The file I'm
using for these tests is an mp3 file with a sr of 11025 hz; and it's exactly
the quarter of 44100 (standard sampling rate) and also happens to be the
difference in position shifts (fw moves 4 times further than it should). Is
it possible that you have made some assumptions in the db system's code?
