It's there, but you just can't see it. :) The fact is that ecawave uses
ecasound's effects in a very generic way. This is no problem when the
effects do the normal thing (ie. process a buffer of samples), but in more
special cases (like dc-fix and normalization, where the effect in fact
just analyzes the sample data), ecawave is not yet able to handle all
situations as it should. Separate Dc-Fix and Normalize functions (menu
items possibly) are on my ecawave todo-list.

Of course, you can always get the result using ecasound directly...

ecasound -i file.wav -o null -ezf

... but I guess you might as weel use 'ecafixdc'.
