Hi,

Somehow I've gotten into a situation where the input and output
buffersizes are different. How did this happen?

First, the buffer on the input and output were 1115 and 355
respectively. Thinking this odd, I decided to set the buffer to 1115
manually with the -b:1115 interactive command. It played for 15.048
seconds then stopped. Now the input buffer is 1214 and output is 60. The
command was:

ecasound -f:16,2,48000 -i file.mp3 -o /dev/dsp -ea:1164 -c

The mp3 file has 16,2,48000 as its format. The default buffersize is 1024
and the default sample rate is 44100. Trying to use -sr:48000 tells me
that mpg123 will not run.

suggestions?

_J
