Ok, this would be a very nice addition. Adding timidity (using pipes; like
with mpg123 and lame) wouldn't affect the MIDI subsystem rewrite, but it
would allow ecasound to play standard MIDI files. It isn't enough for
everybody (synching to other MIDI-devices/apps is still needed), but yes,
it would be a nice addition.
