well, you CAN technically use a pipe, but you cannot put it in a pipeline
very well. Reason being that ecasound wants input on stdin, not commands
for ecasound (ecasound-iam) The ecasoundd feature request would fix this
problem, since stdin/stdout of the controlling interface would now not be
stdin/stdout of ecasound.
