Hello,

I am encoding mpg data with lame3.58 and my normal mpg players like the
data. mpg123, however, does not.

[root@Peppy ecasound]# mpg123 -b -q -s -k 0 /pongo/tr2/mp3/sliders.mp3
High Performance MPEG 1.0/2.0/2.5 Audio Player for Layer 1, 2 and 3.

so mpg123 doesn't like my file. Is there another player or decoder I
could use with ecasound and do something about it? I use splay often, and
also I can use l3dec if I need to. How does ecasound determine how long
the mp3 data is? Is there a later version of mpg123? Is there something
that could be a drop-in replacement for mpg123 that actually works?
