[ecasound] Running ecasound in cron

Hello,
I've been trying to run ecasound in cron with such arguments:
/usr/bin/ecasound -B:rtlowlatency -b:256 -f:s32_le,2,48000 -i:alsahw,1,0
-o:alsa
But nothing happens. If I run it from the shell it works as expected. What
I need to do in order to run ecasound in cron?
