Hi all,

ecasound compiles quite well on os x 10.6.x.
the only problem, is that i cannot get any sound.

jack server fails to start even with the CoreAudio backend.

JackPilot (see www.jackosx.com),
works fine but by default it listens on port 57000.

is it a commandline syntax to tell ecasound that the
server is listening on this port?

another point concerning this problem:

to avoid using jack, are the portaudio and portmidi library supported
by ecasound, which would be very helpfull for that purpose?
they work fine on snow leopard.

thanks to all for your reply.

Raoul
