[ecasound] Problem with ecasound on CentOS 5.2, x86_64

I have been using ecasound for about a year now, and suddenyl, as in
in the last week, I can't run it any more. I'm getting this result
when I try:

ecasound -i CCR-TravellinBand.mp3 -etf:8 -o /tmp/CCR-TravellinBand.mp3
