Sorry, forgot something:
When you run the examples from the previous mail, jst go to a different
terminal and do:
jack_lsp
   see if ecasound has two outputs at all. If not, do it like this:
ecasound -i jack_auto,Cog -f:16,2,44100 -o jack_alsa (other options)
16 marks bit-format, usually 16 is just fine. 2 marks channel number, so 2 is
stereo. 44100 marks samplerate, depends on what you like and what JACK is set
to. 44100 is a sane default for most systems.
   If that doesn't work nicely, try:
ecasound -f:16,1,44100 -i jack_auto,Cog -f:16,2,44100 -o jack_alsa (options)
