Hi,

This probably will be of interest for other x86_64 users of ecasound on
ubuntu.

The bad news is that something is broken in the gutsy ((7.10) version of
ecasound, which was working in feisty.

The level analyze option -ev does not work. No error messages.

    philippe@email-addr-hidden$ nice /usr/bin/ecasound -i test.wav -o:null -ev

The good news is that a fresh compile does work, however

it will reach the intended destination.
