oops, I actually tested with 2.3.3, not 2.3.5. I checked the CVS history
and it seems that this is a regression introduced in 2.3.4 and is present
in 2.3.5, too.
This bug, and the unrelated bug in outputting oggs (and any external
command where %f is given as part of option like --output=%f), have been
fixed in CVS. The snapshot including the fixes is available at:
