export ecasound=/usr/local/bin/ecasound it works for both us_0001.wav and *.wav arguments; thus:

Normalizing file "us_0007.wav" (amp-%: 726.1).
Using audio format -f:s16_le,1,16000
Starting processing...
Processing finished.
Removing temp file "/tmp/ecatools-bart/normalize-tmp-2850--1073750376.wav".
bart_AT_linux:~/normal> ecaplay us_0001.wav
