Hi

I am new to ecasound and the world of recording under linux. I am
another poor rockmusican, who wants to record some demo the cheap way
with some soundblaster pci 128. They all work together with an
soundblaster awe64 ISA card for rehearsal. Now I want to record 6 mono
(drum)tracks on threes cards, but all cards seem to behave kind of
strange: the left channel seems to come in on both channels, left and
right. I tried different stuff under tkeca....multichannel (?) ...
reading from the device with two mono channel tracks (wich doesn`t work)
  and so on....
Can me anybody give some tips how to monitor (ecasignalview) and record
the both channels seperately?

would be great, if this is possible....another great thing with my
favorite OS....
I no about the possible sync problems and we will buy a multichannel
card, if it is necessary....but first I want to try it this way.

TIA

Hopefully I am writing to the right list ?!

greetz

Tobias
