Hirendra,

I can't repeat your setup but from what you describe, it seems that lame
(of which there are 3 instances being used) isn't getting enough cpu
cycles - lame is pretty intensive when encoding, and the more
compression you are using, the more it needs - I run two lame sessions
concurrently, one encoding to 64kb/s, the other to 128kb/s, the 64
stream uses 40% cpu, the 128, 15%).

You might consider increasing the bit rate, even outputting as a raw
wave file and doing batch encoding afterwards.

As a test I would try this with a single channel, then with 2 and see at
what point you get the problem - top will also help.
