Hi,
I have a TV Tuner card which is patched into a sound card
and I'm able to record audio using ecasound. Now I've put
in a second Tuner Card which is not patched into the sound card
but provides a dsp interface and shows up as /dev/dsp3.
I can use sox to play the output of /dev/dsp3 this way -
sox -w -r 32000 -t ossdsp /dev/dsp3 -t ossdsp /dev/dsp
but I'm unable to use ecasound to record off dsp3.
I tried the following -
ecasound -C -z:db,1000000 -b:4096 -t:60 -f s16_le,2ch,32000 -i:/dev/dsp3 -o:/dev/dsp
to see if I could play first, but it errored out with
eca-chainsetup) 'rt' buffering mode selected.
(audioio-oss) Warning: OSS-device doesn't support
SNDCTL_DSP_SETTRIGGER!
(eca-control) ERROR: Connecting chainsetup failed: "Enabling
chainsetup: AUDIOIO-OSS: general OSS-error
SNDCTL_DSP_SETFRAGMENT"
Any tips on how I can record using ecasound off of /dev/dsp3 ?
I'm using ecasound 2.2.2 on RH8.0. The TV Tuner card is WinTV dbx
401 and I'm using the btaudio module (which provides the
/dev/dsp{3,4} devices).
TIA,
