Ugh, does the following work:
sh> ecasound -i invalid
...? On my machine the above coredumps if ecasound was compiled with
gcc-3.3. :( It seems that there is something broken in C++ exception
handling, either generally or just when throwing exceptions from class
constructors. I've tried a few different optimization settings and also to
simplify the code handling the specific case above, but I always get the
coredump.
