I did consider this and I still like the idea. One argument against wiki
is that a wiki-installation is more difficult to move from one hosting
environment to another. I'd like keep all core documentation easily
movable. Second issue is that I don't have any experience of maintaining a
wiki.

But, but, this doesn't stop someone else to start an ecasound doc wiki!
I'm willing to support the idea and put links to all over ecasound website
and documentation, if someone decides to start one.

No, no, resending messaging and querying about old messages is definitely
not frowned upon. The unfortunate fact of life is that I nowadays get more
email than I can handle. Usually those mails that I don't know how to
answer to are the most likely candidates to be ignored. But usually some
issue is raised multiple times (by the same person, or by different
people), I usually will react sooner or later. I know this is not an ideal
situation, but this is how I can keep the things going.
