Hello!
  I think the effect should be placed after the output. So you'd better try
something like this:
  ecasound -a:1,2 -i /dev/dsp -a:1 -o /dev/dsp1 -a:2 -o save.wav -a:all
-pn:fx_preset
  I'm not sure about the /dev/dsp output part. On the soundcards I had output
was usually redirected to /dev/dsp, but they were simple.
