found something too ... when I used 2.1.something, and running it with
something like
ecasound -r -f:s16_le,2,44100 -ev -t:<somebignumber> -i:alsa,default
-o:somefile.raw
and then killed it with "killall ecasound" sometime before the seconds
given to -t were run out, I would still get the info from -ev and it
would exit cleanly.
I now installed CVS version from yesterday, and when I do the same here,
I get:
(audioio-alsa) Read error! Stopping operation.
Warning: DBC_REQUIRE failed - "samples_read >= 0", samplebuffer.cpp, 761.
sh: line 56: 8566 Segmentation fault ecasound -B:rtlowlatency -r -ev -t:9300 -f:s16_le,2,44100 -i:alsa,default
-o:zimmernewraw.raw
dunno if this is intended or not ...
(haven't tried what it does when being stopped via ctrl-c, this was an
at-job so I could only kill it)
