Hi,
could someone explain the following:
when run with the following command:
ecasound -c -a:1 -i test.wav -o /dev/dsp -a:2 -i /dev/dsp -o new-track.wav
ecasound reports this warning:
(audioio-oss) Warning! Requested sample rate is not supported. Ignoring
the the difference between requested (44100) and suggested (22050)
sample rates.
starting the recording produces no monitoring but records to the file.
Is this ecasound issue or alsa's oss emulation problem (on the MacOS
side recording/playing in 44100/16 works fine)
this is using ecasound 2.0.4 with alsa 0.5.12 (the latest that works
properly on a iMac).
Debian 2.4.18
for the record, I tested duplex using pd (in oss emulation) and it
worked fine.
I'm puzzled.
