Hi,

Try alsahw,0 instead of alsa,0. With the new changes in 0.6.x of alsa, you
now have a file called a .asoundrc file. IT is quite versatile and is
vastly more flexible than 0.5.x. Each application can have a
speciallytuned alsa driver.
