Hmm, this is probably related to the XFree 3.x to 4.x update. Ie. you need
to recompile the ecamegapedal and qtecasound packages.

BtW; if someone has working rpm-packages for rh7x, I could put those to
     ecasound web site (and mark the current rpms as rh6x and
     compatibles).
