Subject: [ecasound] Sample rate question

Hi:

I have a number of MP3 files that are recorded at a 32kb/s sample rate. When
played without sr: specified, ecasound apparently internally resamples the
files to 44.1 (w/ lots of artifacts). Is there any way other than using sr:
to make these files play w/out resampling? They're mixed with normal 44.1
files & all are played from a script. I'd hate to have to read the id3 tag
before each play & add the sr: param when needed (this is a timing-critical
application) or to store an additional field in the database that indexes
the files (that's too prone to human error in this application) - and also
correct for the timing errors in y: that occur on the 32k files. Any ideas?

thanks
bg
