Now I haven't done any testing, but this should be possible with the new
gate system? So something like "ecasound -i /dev/dsp -o file.wav
-ge:10,0,1" would truncate all audio input until a 10% RMS-threshold is
hit. Then the gate will remain open for ever (we never go below the 0%
end-threshold).
