I'm thinking of buying a midi controller box for use with ecasound and
others. The ones I've heard of are the GMedia Phatboy, the Kenton
Control Freak, the Encore Electronics Knobby, and the Doepfer Drehbank.
I think the last two require special software to operate. Does anyone
have any recommendations or advice? Also, is the resolution of such
devices fine enough for things like slow fadeins/fadeouts?
