I've now altered how the third parameter (wet-%) behaves. If you now set
it to 100%, original signal is not added to the mix.

The above wouldn't work because you have two instances of /dev/dsp. How
about:
-a:1,2 -i /tmp/in.raw
-a:1 -ete:100,100,100
-a:2 -ea:-100
-a:1,2 -o /dev/dsp
That should do it.
