I've done a lot of testing, at it seems that it's gcc 2.95.1 what's
causing the problem. I've tried various version of compilers
and binutils (2.9.0 -> 2.9.5), and only upgrading to 2.95.1 triggers
the problem. I haven't tested 2.95.2... hopefully it works, or else
we're in a bit of a trouble.
