        Hey all. I just found ecasound yesterday, and it looks like it'll be
exactly what I need to do a bunch of remasters/conversions. It's nice to
know that there's good support for us musician/programmers out there :)
        I did, however, run into a problem...I tried converting an MP3 to a
CDR, and no luck...the examples say I should have only needed to do
> ecasound -i American_Bleach.mp3 -o American_Bleach.cdr
        
        However, it seemed to lock up on me. It got as far as telling me that
the Mp123 child process was started, spawned about 5 threads and just
hung there. I let it run for about an hour just to make sure it wasn't
just running slow, but it never moved past that.
        Was I just doing something stupid?
