The Children Of Lir from Cologne/Germany, are happy to announce the release of our new CD this is the story... which has been mixed and mastered *completely* using Ecasound, LADSPA and some bash scripts for organizing the audio projects. See the related mail to ecasound-list in May 2010.
Ecasound is used as one of the building blocks of the After The Ice Mixer website.
Adam Linson develops and uses software that interfaces with Ecasound for realtime processing and sampling in the context of improvised music.
Al Steffens is a synthesizer music composer doing a mixture of ambient, electronic, and classic progressive rock styles. He has been using Ecasound for sound editing and multitrack recording.
Tank-FX is an audio/internet-installation, where the user can upload a sample up to 60 seconds which will be played in an 11 meter concrete tank, providing a monster reverb. The user can then download the sample, so it works like an effect device, and thus the name Tank-FX. Ecasound is used in Tank-FX as the playback and recording engine.
Spamatica is a a site with free music made with free software. Lots of music available for download under the Creative Commons License. Ecasound has been used in some of tracks.
Ecasound was used as an effect processor in the Outside Standing Level multimedia installation that was presented during the Umbria Jazz Festival 2002 in Piazza, Italy. The software packages that were used are now available at sf.net.
Radio Paradise is a well-known web radio station that focuses on playing eclectic intelligent rock music. Radio Paradise runs on open-source software that has been put together by Bill Goldsmith. Ecasound is used as one part of the system.
Lornkcor Rocknroll’s SpiritShip multimedia recording and software creation studio lists Ecasound in their software pages.
Eastman Computer Music Center is another studio that has Ecasound on their software list.
TwentyTwo are using Ecasound for multitrack recording.
Emiliano Grilli has been using Ecasound for recording his music. Emiliano’s website also provides a good introduction (in italian) about Linux audio applications!

Kai Vehmanen tries to live by the "eat your own dogfood" rule and is using Ecasound for producing music in the Kelaus Tree project.
