Hello,
i have a setup with 3 ecasound instances, and all of them are using this midi option : -Md:alsaseq,bridge:0
this is working correctly. But the problem i have is all alsa sequencer ports have the same "ecasound" name, so i'm not able to know which port goes to which instance.
aconnect -iol command gives me :
client 128: 'ecasound' [type=user]
0 'ecasound '
Connected From: 131:0
client 129: 'ecasound' [type=user]
0 'ecasound '
Connected From: 131:0
client 130: 'ecasound' [type=user]
0 'ecasound '
Connected From: 131:0
client 131: 'bridge' [type=user]
0 'Output port '
Connecting To: 128:0, 129:0, 130:0
is there any command in ecasound iam to help me have this information ? i couldn't find any.
the only info i can see when ecasound is starting is : (eca-engine) Initializing MIDI-server.
Or would it be possible to add a way to name the port ? in the option like -Md:alsaseq,bridge:0,myname for example.
cheers,
Raphaël Mouneyres
