ack, and there's indeed a bug in the code (not in any release, introduces
while trying to fix the "live cop-add" case), so this can for sure happen
(just wasn't obvious in your specific log as it didn't show the JACK
transport state at start, so I couldn't be 100% sure of this).
I'll queue this to the last desperate attempt at making a 2.9.0 next
weekend.
