Thank you very much for your response. I tried this command:

ecasound -i:alsa,usb_stream:1 -o:ecasound-Tascam.wav

And got this:

This command works fine:
arecord -MDusb_stream:1 -fS24_3LE -r44100 -c2 -twav --period-size=640
some_wave_file_with_24_bit_audio.wav

Any idea?
