it now is. :) Many ops are denormal-free (grep for
ecaops_flush_to_zero()), but not all .. and '-ete' seems to be one of
them.

I pushed a potential fix for this to the public git tree at:
git clone http://ecasound.seul.org/ecasound.git/

Could you verify whether this solves the problem for you?
