btw... I did:
ecasound -c -i:playat,3,audioloop,select,3,4,Count.wav -o:jack_alsa
setpos 3
started ecasound
It started at position 3, and I heard myself saying '3,4,5,6 - 3,4,5,6'
Nice!!!

I did the same command, but outputted to a WAV...
setpos 3
started ecasound...
There's 3 seconds of silence at the beginning, but does start looping at
me saying '3,4,5,6... 3,4,5,6'
Is this the expected behavior? As a hint, it doesn't write to the WAV in
realtime. I created a 21 minute WAV within seconds.

When I added -y:3 after 'Count.wav', and omitted 'setpos 3', the
resulting WAV starts at me saying 3 and loops correctly.
