Hello I use intensively ecasound to do linear fading and so on, i've no problem at all, except on one specific example, maybe it's a bug, i dunno: here is a simple .ewf file, named bug.ewf (2 lines) source = 10.wav looping = true You'll find in attachment the file 10.wav, and i launch the command: /usr/bin/ecasound -i:bug.ewf -ea:100 -klg:1,0,100,1,0,1 -t 10.877 -a:all -f:s16_le,1,11025 -o bug.wav All is ok, here is the output: ******************************************************************************** * ecasound v2.4.5 (C) 1997-2006 Kai Vehmanen and others ******************************************************************************** - [ Session created ] ---------------------------------------------------------- - [ Chainsetup created (cmdline) ] --------------------------------------------- (eca-chainsetup-parser) Set processing time to 10.88. - [ Connecting chainsetup ] ---------------------------------------------------- (eca-chainsetup) 'nonrt' buffering mode selected. (eca-chainsetup) Audio object "bug.ewf", mode "read". (audio-io) Format: s16_le, channels 1, srate 11025, interleaved. (eca-chainsetup) Audio object "bug.wav", mode "read/write". (audio-io) Format: s16_le, channels 1, srate 11025, interleaved. - [ Chainsetup connected ] ----------------------------------------------------- (eca-control-objects) Connected chainsetup: "command-line-setup". - [ Controller/Starting batch processing ] ------------------------------------- (generic-linear-envelope) Envelope created. - [ Engine init - Driver start ] ----------------------------------------------- - [ Controller/Batch processing finished (0) ] --------------------------------- (eca-control-objects) Disconnecting chainsetup: "command-line-setup". - [ Chainsetup disconnected ] -------------------------------------------------- HOWEVER, when i check bug.wav, with for example ffmpeg -i bug.wav, i get an error: FFmpeg version SVN-rUNKNOWN, Copyright (c) 2000-2007 Fabrice Bellard, et al. configuration: --enable-gpl --enable-pp --enable-libvorbis --enable-libogg --enable-liba52 --enable-libdts --enable-dc1394 --enable-libgsm --disable-debug --enable-libmp3lame --enable-libfaad --enable-libfaac --enable-xvid --enable-shared --enable-x11grab --enable-pthreads --enable-swscaler --enable-libtheora --enable-x264 --disable-mmx --prefix=/usr libavutil version: 49.3.0 libavcodec version: 51.38.0 libavformat version: 51.10.0 built on Feb 14 2008 12:44:50, gcc: 4.1.3 20070929 (prerelease) (Ubuntu 4.1.2-16ubuntu2) [flic @ 0xb7ef57d4]Could not find codec parameters (Video: flic, 16727x17750) bug.wav: could not find codec parameters ffmpeg thinks this wav is a video flic file?? completely a non sense, so maybe the .wav created is corrupted ? (i've tried on different install of ecasound and ffmpeg, and same problem) Thanks for your help! and god bless ecasound...
